This amazing project was funded by Alzheimer Scotland and a private anonymous donation. I was able to offer eight people (service users and carers) a four week tutored project to produce these amazing framed felt pictures! Constructed over four weeks, the participants used words and phrases such as ‘therapeutic’, ‘confidence building’ and many other positive accolades to describe their achievements. We were very fortunate to have great staff and volunteers on hand to help but overall, this amazing group just loved working on their pictures by themselves and used their life experiences and talents to create felt pictures for the first time.
