Today, I spent a wonderful time with Deborah and Jacqueline teaching nuno felted scarves. These ladies had not wet felted before and wanted to jump straight into the challenge! Well done both of you for making these wonderful creations. We hand dyed the silk using a microwave and then selected colours of merino fibre and mulberry silks to cover one side of the dyed silk. After much hard but rewarding rolling and hand finishing we ended up with these amazing wearable pieces of art.
This is a full day 10 – 4 workshop which is plenty of time to relax and soak up the beauty of all that is colour and fibre, be inspired by texture and the beautiful surroundings of the Mull of Galloway.
