Wet felted merino fibre, and free stitched painting with white locks, sari silks, liberty silk sheet and mulberry silks this image is my interpretation of a rock pool with it’s 3D qualities. I have embedded real limpet shells into the felting process and cut them away post-felting to create the 3D effect. I have embedded prefelts in the top part of the composition to create more 3D effects you may see in rock pools in and around the stunning Mull of Galloway.
