JOHN NIMMO – THE CLAYHOLE POTTER
John produces both earthenware and stoneware ceramics from his base at the Clayhole Pottery just outside Stranraer.
White earthenware clay is wheel thrown and decorated with coloured slips and underglazes using motifs based on the flora and fauna of his native Wigtownshire.
His range of stoneware ceramics is functional and designed to feel good in the hand. The glazes are all lead free and the stoneware dishwasher safe.
