NEW FOR 2021….imagine this…A CREATIVE HIDEAWAY.
Background – My studio and gallery – The Mull of Gallery – are situated 2 miles from the Mull of Galloway Lighthouse. just 2.5 miles outside Drummore Village on the Rhins, the most southerly and in the far west of Dumfries and Galloway! Look at a map to see where we are!
Whilst I live in a stunningly beautiful area, there is limited short-stay accomodation for my workshop students especially in the summer months as many of the wonderful cottages require weekly or fortnightly stays. There are some wonderful BBs here too, but imagine this……
A CREATIVE HIDEAWAY – a comfortable and self contained cabin called ‘The Hideaway’, next to the studio, with two people sharing (one if you prefer!) which will be pet free, have a bathroom with shower, two sofa beds, a kitchen area and a view over the setting sun! There will be some optional extras such as breakfast packs and local eggs, wine or prosecco and home bakes!
A minimum stay will be 2 nights with or without a workshop (discounted) or you can use the gardens and paint at your leisure! Or you just come and stay and play in the region, there is my wee gallery on site, nearby is the Lighthouse, Gallie Craig coffee house and RSPB reserve just 2 miles to the end of the pennunsula. Logan Botanic Garden, Logan Fishpond and Port Logan is a few miles away with the most stunning sunsets in the area. There is a shop and post office in the village and a few places to eat and drink including pubs..
