‘MYTHICAL WOOD’
Recent abstract felt paintings that concentrate on a sunset forest scene, shifting light and enhanced colour. Wet felted pieces have been cut into strips and laid into the background with yarns and the whole composition re-felted, free motion stitched to create a slight 3D effect. You will notice I have stitched into the negative spaces allowing the textures of the felted tree trunks to sit in the foreground.
