Wet felted and intensively free motion stitched to create depth and texture, this painting is made from felted merino fibre, viscose, various locks, nepps, wool pebbles and mulberry silks to create a 3D effect.
It is based on the rough seas during winter and the inevitably strewn shorelines in and around the Mull of Galloway. The colours and textures reflect the wild surf.
