Wet felted and intensively free motion stitched to create depth and texture, this painting is made from felted merino fibre, viscose, art yarn, nepps and mulberry silks to create a 3D effect.
This piece was inspired by a photo shown to me whist holidaying on Great Cumbrae island and i made a watercolour from the photo which I attempted in felt and stitch.
