Flight
Being awake at 5am with the dawn chorus inspired me to go into the studio to create.
‘Flight’ is an abstract of the birds rising from freshly ploughed fields on the Mull of Galloway.
Using hand dyed merino fibres, some art yarns and mulbery silks, I wanted to capture the richness of the soils and the multitude of greens through the land. I have free stitched the final detail on which captures the flight of the birds.
The felt painting is 8 x 8 inches and is £48 plus £3.50 pp UK (please enquire postal rates for rest of the world)
